Pre-production for "Ultrachrist!", LeisureSuit Media's first full-length DV feature, is heavy under way. After 3 years of Web-based stupidity, we're classing up the joint with the help of these amazingly talented young people who haven't a clue what they're getting into. Shhh! Don't tell them!

Jonathan Green plays Jesus, who returns to Earth to usher in God's reign, but discovers that society has changed a lot in 2000 years. "There are so many new words to learn," he wails, "like 'extranet' and 'foofaraw'!" Eventually he hatches a scheme to bring Christianity to the masses . . .

Celia Montgomery plays Molly, an ordinary seamstress who wins Jesus's heart. But can she teach Jesus to love the kind of love that involves, like, touching?

Samuel Bruce Campbell is A.C. Meany, the New York City Parks Commissioner and, coincidentally, Satan. A.C. will do whatever it takes to stop Ultrachrist, including unleashing the dreaded Sin Monsters ...

Don Creech plays God the Father. He's none too thrilled about his son's behavior since he arrived on Earth. So he sends an angel to Earth on a mission ...

Jordan Hoffman, yes that Jordan Hoffman, plays the Archangel Ira. He's assigned by God to get Jesus on the straight and narrow. But Ira ain't exactly the straightest or narrowest angel in heaven.

Marty Grillo plays Murray Klein, a marketing genius with the skill set to maximize Jesus's Q-quotient.

|
Dara Shindler plays Jada Jennsen, reporter for the Very Cool Cable Network. She's been looking for a scoop, and when she meets Ira, she gets a scoop of more than she bargained for.

|
Danielle Langlois and Samantha Dark are Jane and Paula, Jesus's roommates, who spend most of their time making out and trying on each other's underwear. Okay, it's not the approach Scorcese would have taken, but what are you gonna do?

|
Also joining the cast are, among others, Nathaniel Graves as the hoodlum Tommy, and Sky Hosoya, a.k.a. Empress Asia of Asia's Sports Dungeon, who won her role by beating producer Jordan Hoffman with a leather strap during the audition, thus winning the lifetime admiration of director Kerry Douglas Dye.
