Just so the record is kept straight though: you can't say that 'bout Billy. Okay, you may have reasons to like him or not, but this review is just insulting for no purpose. I wouldn't buy his albums the way things are now, because he's making pop music (not country); his songs are not timeless, it's not like that good old-timey country and western music. I've chatted with some country and western fans on the internet and they told me that they want to hear real country music, not the pop bullshit you hear on the radio nowadays - that says it all. Yes, Billy has a pretty nice voice, but in fact he's only using a fraction of his true talent and I certainly don't like nor do I approve of him being bought and sold, but that is the awful truth. All in all, even if he has or had a girlfriend, that doesn't mean anything, because I know it's very easy to pretend you're straight and happy - I am a girl magnet myself and could fool them anytime, but I don't want to be untrue to my nature. I know Billy once mentioned 'don't get me wrong - I do have feminine friends', which seems kinda odd to me if you need to keep people from 'getting you wrong'.. I know there are lotsa gay people in the world, but a lot of folks are conformists (people who uncritically or habitually conform to the customs, rules, or styles of a group) and just pretend being straight for the sake of being part of the pack. Don't ever give up your individuality, people; I know some would like you to shut up, sit down and be one of the pack, but you're a human being, not an animal which is limited to life in a herd or flock. Although Billy can't get near to great country and western heroes like Johnny Cash with this kinda production, I think this review is terribly unfair and low to the ground even.. You can write about your reasons not to like his music, but it's not right to stomp him into the ground as a human being. To offer Billy some advice: do like Johnny Cash did, first extend your arm and then your middle finger and tell the corrupt corpocracy to mind their own business - not even your parents should tell you what (not) to do, stop being a conformist for country music's sake.
